As part of using HoliCrew, the following personal data is processed:
- Registration data (e-mail address, password)
- Family profiles (family name, languages)
- Children's data (name, year of birth, gender, interests, languages)
- Travel data (hotel name, hotel address, travel period)
- Chat messages between users
- Technical data (IP address, browser type, access times)
3. Legal Bases
Your data is processed on the basis of the following legal grounds (Art. 6 GDPR):
- Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): Providing the platform's features
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): Security and improvement of the service

4. Hosting and Data Processing
Our platform is hosted on servers in the EU. We employ technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Data transmissions are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.

HoliCrew uses technically necessary cookies required for the operation of the platform (e.g., session cookies for authentication). In addition, with your express consent, we use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and marketing purposes (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Pixel). These are only loaded if you select "Accept all" in the cookie banner. You can withdraw your consent at any time here – the necessary functions of the app remain available.
6. Retention Period
Your data is stored only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or as long as statutory retention obligations require. Upon deletion of your account, your personal data will be deleted within 30 days, provided no statutory retention obligations apply.
